Unlike many other couriers, we have a very flexible limit to the size of package you can send with us. However, to guarantee not to incur extra handling charges we recomend the following guidelines:
Try to keep your package under 330cms length and girth combined (that is the two shortest sides added together then multiplied by two, followed by adding the longest side
The maximum length of the longest side can be as much as 270cms
The maximum weight per package depends on what service you decide upon - take a browse at our service offerings in the services section.
We advise you try to keep the number packages in one consignment to a maximum of 20 items.
Whatever the package you have, and wherever it is going, we'll always try to use our experience and trusted partners to find a way of delivering it under standard tariffs. Obviously, there reaches a point where these charges are unable to be applied due to the oversize nature of your package. By using our network of courier partners intelligently, we can mitigate certain size constraints, but when extra handling charges are inevitable, we will advise you at the booking stage. As a rule of thumb, try to keep your overall dimensions below 330cm and the maximum weight below that stated in our services menus.
Unusual packaging that attracts additional handling charges can include the following:
Packages that are not fully covered in packaging material
Packages encased in wood or metal material
Packages encased in plastic wrap
Packages of a cylindrical form
Packages that are longer than 1.5 metres long, or whose second longest dimension is larger than 75cms
Any individual package within a consignment that goes over 30Kgs could require some assistance in loading safely. Some airfreight limits are set to 31.5kg. If you are in any doubt, please contact us and we will be only too pleased to advise you on the best way to send your package.
We are more than happy to make deliveries on Saturdays across the majority of UK delivery addresses, along with many large European and Worldwide cities. You will need to use the Express service and make sure you make us aware of the request for Saturday Delivery in the relevant part of the online order form.
In addition to this you need to mark the package for Saturday delivery with clear 'Saturday' labelling. As ever, if you require confirmation, guidance or clarification, we will happily take you through the process.
